What is there to do at New Mexico Tech? There are plenty of activities to keep our students busy and engaged! For the adventurous type there are numerous outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing, camping, and star gazing. If it is more city life that a student is looking for, we are only an hour away from Albuquerque, New Mexico’s biggest city, which has a whole lot to offer!

We also offer many activities on campus. We have a large amount of clubs who meet constantly and sometimes even put on events. We also have our Performing Arts Series (https://nmtpas.org/current-season/) which has a wide range of amazing acts. The Student Government puts on events throughout the year such as comedy and movie nights as well. On top of all these things the campus also has a full gym, intramural and club sports, a swimming pool that is open all year, and a game room (pool tables, ping pong, video game systems, etc.). The best part about all of these on campus activities? They are all absolutely FREE for students! In addition we also have an amazing full 18 hole golf course on campus that is only $6 for students!
